Built during the Napoleonic domination the D'Arco of the Peace initiated fù in 1807 from Luigi Cagnola, but the jobs were completed by Francis Peverelli and Francis Londonio. The monument completed for remembering the 1815 European peace was inaugurated September 10 th 1838.
Placed to the center of the ample Sempione Plaza, the D'Arco of the Peace has a' height of around 25 meters with a stupendous decoration in bronze of the Sestiga of the Peace.
